Aaron Lee is a writer, editor and photographer who covers music and the creative industries.
Through words and pictures, he has been telling stories about musicians, innovators, developers, and other creatives for 10 years.
As a journalist, he has years of in-house experience working in the B2B technology sector for online publications Cloud Pro and IT Pro, and video games trade magazine, Develop.
As a copywriter, Aaron has written artist biographies and has been responsible for creating and managing content on Deezer’s global customer support website.
As a photographer, Aaron primarily captures live music and performance events. Some of his highlights to date include: Corinne Bailey Rae, Jorja Smith, Laura Mvula, Little Simz, and Banks.
In 2017, Aaron launched Fringe Frequency, a website dedicated to diverse music, culture and events. He continues to support it as a space for showcasing new ideas and new faces from all backgrounds.
While studying at Goldsmiths, he led a team of fellow students to create a new magazine which was shortlisted for a PTC magazine award.
Aaron’s work has appeared in The Independent, The Voice, EastLondonLines, IT Pro, Cloud Pro, Alphr, TechRadar, PC Advisor, Develop, MCV, PressPlay, and Pocket Gamer, among others.
He is based in London.
