Aaron Lee is a writer, edi­tor and pho­tog­ra­ph­er who cov­ers music and the cre­ative industries.

Through words and pic­tures, he has been telling sto­ries about musi­cians, inno­va­tors, devel­op­ers, and oth­er cre­atives for 10 years.

As a jour­nal­ist, he has years of in-house expe­ri­ence work­ing in the B2B tech­nol­o­gy sec­tor for online pub­li­ca­tions Cloud Pro and IT Pro, and video games trade mag­a­zine, Devel­op.

As a copy­writer, Aaron has writ­ten artist biogra­phies and has been respon­si­ble for cre­at­ing and man­ag­ing con­tent on Deezer’s glob­al cus­tomer sup­port website.

As a pho­tog­ra­ph­er, Aaron pri­mar­i­ly cap­tures live music and per­for­mance events. Some of his high­lights to date include: Corinne Bai­ley Rae, Jor­ja Smith, Lau­ra Mvu­la, Lit­tle Simz, and Banks.

In 2017, Aaron launched Fringe Fre­quen­cy, a web­site ded­i­cat­ed to diverse music, cul­ture and events. He con­tin­ues to sup­port it as a space for show­cas­ing new ideas and new faces from all backgrounds.

While study­ing at Gold­smiths, he led a team of fel­low stu­dents to cre­ate a new mag­a­zine which was short­list­ed for a PTC mag­a­zine award.

Aaron’s work has appeared in The Inde­pen­dent, The Voice, East­Lon­don­Lines, IT Pro, Cloud Pro, Alphr, TechRadar, PC Advi­sor, Devel­op, MCV, Press­Play, and Pock­et Gamer, among others.

He is based in London.
